R Bevilacqua & R Poole - Section IV Character Award

On June 16th, Jefferson Central School juniors Rose Bevilacqua and Riely Poole were honored with the Section IV Character Counts Award.

This award is presented annually to two student-athletes who consistently demonstrate the character strengths we value in athletics. It recognizes individuals who lead by example, on and off the field, through their integrity, respect, responsibility, and sportsmanship.

The award is grounded in the belief that positive character traits are at the heart of every true leader. As Michael Josephson writes:

“Our character is both formed and revealed by how we deal with everyday challenges as well as extraordinary pressures and temptations. Like a well-made tower, character is built stone by stone, decision by decision.”

We are proud to celebrate Rose and Riely for representing Jefferson Central School and Section IV with their positive character traits. Well done!
